If the destination is in North America, the frame will follow the inches guide, if the destination is anywhere else in the world, EU, ANZ, Asia, etc., the frame will follow the cm guide.
Most of our posters sizes have a matching frame in the same size so our customers can put it on the wall as soon as they receive it and start enjoying their creations.

Closing mechanism: bendy bits or swivel clip
The visible area of the inside of the frame is the measurement of the poster minus 1/8 inch per side. For example, the visible area for a 12x18 inch poster would be 11 7/8 x 17 7/8 inch.
In our experience it is fairly easy to mount the poster and frame together. If you are unsure about how to mount a poster into a frame, you can read more in the question below "How Do I Mount A Poster Into The Frame?".
1. Remove packaging from the frame and locate the small metal tabs on the back of the frame.
2. Bend the tabs through 90º
3. Once all the tabs have been lifted out of the way, the rear of the frame can be removed and the picture inserted into the frame. Replace the back of the frame and bend the tabs back down to hold the frame in position.
This is quite rare but in case it happens, it's important to distinguish between different scenarios:
1. Poster and frame ordered from different suppliers
If you ordered the poster and the frame from different suppliers (e.g. the frame from Galerie de Claire and the poster somewhere else or vice-versa), you have to consider that we apply a centimeters to inches (and vice-versa) automatic conversion depending on where the order is shipped to. If the order is going to the US or Canada, it will be processed in inches; if it's going to the rest of the world, it will be processed in centimeters.
We always recommend ordering both the poster and the matching frame from Galerie de Claire to avoid such cases.
2. Poster and frame ordered both from Gelato
If you ordered both the poster and the frame from Galerie de Claire, there are a few checks to perform:
a) Check if the poster fits from the back - instructions in "How Do I Mount A Poster Into The Frame?". If you are testing the poster fit by laying the poster on the front of the frame, it might not be a good representation as the back of the frame has actually more space than the front.
b) If the poster doesn't fit from the back, measure the poster length and width and contact Galerie de Claire Support Team.
This will depend on the product ordered, the print location, the destination country, the size of the order, the status of the network, and the shipping method selected.
Most packages are delivered 72 working hours after the order has been placed and confirmed. This is thanks to the fact that today we print locally in 21 countries. However, under the pandemic, many countries' logistic systems have been impacted and might result in delays.
We work with 30 shipping providers around the world. The shipping provider used depends on several factors including the country of production, the country of delivery, the best value shipping method, and more. A list of our distribution partners can be found below*.

Alternatively, if you weren't interested in a re-order, we have a 14-day hassle-free return policy where we will provide the shipping label for the return, however, the refund amount will be the total order price - shipping cost - 10% processing fees.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as for instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
